Welcome to Cloud's Cabin! We are located an easy drive northwest of Houston. Cloud's Cabin is nestled in the piney woods of Magnolia, Texas and offers a cozy little spot for the perfect getaway. Whether it's a day or a week, Cloud's Cabin is a quiet, private spot to rest up. We are situated on a small self-sufficient working homestead. We grow seasonal vegetables and exotic rare fig tree varieties from around the world! We are big FIG enthusiast here! The space Cloud's Cabin is a cabin/camper combo, the cabin, being the primary accommodation. It is a one-bedroom cabin with a queen size bed. The main room offers a dinette that converts into a fold out full-size bed. The cabin sleeps 2 comfortably and/or 3 snuggly. For bookings of 3 or more guest, we offer the camper (The Figlet) for additional comfort and a bit more room to relax. The Figlet has a queen size bed and a small couch that folds out into a single size bed, accommodating 2 comfortably and/or 3 snuggly. Cloud's Cabin is equipped with appliances and cookware for making awesome wholesome meals. A coffee pot and complimentary coffee are supplied. We also cater to country cookers with an assortment of outdoor cooking equipment. (Smokers, Grills, Stove, Dutch Kettles etc...) Cloud's Cabin features a relaxing spacious covered front deck. On it is a dinette, a comfy futon couch, and a big Cracker Barrel style rocking chair. Ceiling fans, lights, and big dish sink add to the convenience of your outdoor experience. Guest access Our guests have the front yard and all of its amenities to themselves and the privacy that comes with it. Please respect the rest of the yard (backyard) as the owner's area. We are lucky to have a nice new convenience store and liquor store only walking distance away. Other things to note Pet policy... We love dogs, ours is named Leon, you might see him, he is friendly and harmless. Tiger is our cat. We have chickens also! The dog fee here on the property is $15 per dog for a 2-night stay. We have had to tighten up our policy on dogs as there have been too many instances where our guests have mistaken our cute little Airbnb cabin for a dog kennel. FOLKS, WE ARE NOT A DOG KENNEL! If you are planning to leave your dog unattended for the day, Cloud's Cabin is not for you, please look elsewhere. We have a fenced in dog yard near the cabin where dogs can run freely and securely on the property or they can be crated on the front porch under a breezy fan allowing our guests to get away for an hour or two for a meal out, or shopping in the area. If you are needing to leave your dog for longer, we work with a very nice new kennel less than a mile away and they are ready to accommodate. They offer half day and full day boarding rates. We have many rare and special varieties from all around the world. Our orchard gets bigger each year! For everyone and for our fig enthusiast, we are offering a complimentary rooted fig tree in a 1-gallon pot for any cabin bookings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays.
