MD just passed a law that makes it unlawful "for a person to make a loud noise that is likely to annoy or disturb one or more persons in their building or neighborhood." Police may arrest violators on site, using handcuffs and other measures. Violators will face misdemeanor charges, a $500 fine and up to 90 days in jail. Please note that due to the fact that sleeping preferences of individuals are different, we will never presume to inform our clients if the number of guests they have in their party will fit our unit sizes. We merely provide our clients with the sq.ft of the unit, number of beds available in each unit, number of bathrooms, and pictures of the unit. It is our guests' responsibility to determine if our unit is suitable to their preferences and if the unit is adequate for their number of guests. The maximum number of guests mentioned in our ad is based on the past guests stay and it is not indicative of individual preferences. We do offer additional units in the same building in case you require more space for your party as well. Licensees understand that the Licensor is not responsible for any personal injury caused by slipping on wet pavement or surfaces, and that tenants are responsible for exercising care when surfaces are wet or slippery due to weather or use of hoses to wash down areas, and further, that the homeowners are not responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to tenants’ property caused directly or indirectly from foul, inclement weather conditions, Acts of God or nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, stoves, tenants’ failure to take adequate precautions around wet areas, or any unforeseeable circumstances. Licensees understand that Licensor offers travel insurance for their protection and that Licensor strongly encourages Licensees to either acquire Licensor’s policy or Licensees own policy to protect their vacation investment against unforeseen events. The cost of Licensor’s travel insurance is 7% of the total rent or 11.5% if the premium "Cancel For Any Reason" policy is selected and is non-refundable. Under no circumstances will Tenants or their guests hold the Owners of the Vacation Rental responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay, except for intentional acts of harm.
