Magnolia Manor and Chapel is a bed and breakfast/event venue. A beautiful 1895 historic property (formerly a church) in a revitalized downtown. We have 6 unique suites available for guests. We are located 12 minutes from I-40 (North Jackson & Union University) and an easy drive on 45w to get here. Enjoy the tranquility of your room or take a stroll down Main Street! Great for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers of all types. The space The Wellington is our largest suite with hardwood floors, and a classic Equestrian inspired theme. It features a King Sleigh Bed with luxury linens, firepace, chest of drawers & chifferobe for storage, barrel table & two bar stools for dinning, an extended reading nook with two wing-back chairs, private bath with luxury tiled shower, luxury (Lavish) brand bath products are provided and smart TV with free wifi for streaming. All suites carry their own lock and key for added security and protection. The Manor offers inviting common areas including the living room, guest dining room, spacious courtyard. In the common area next to the dinning room you will have access to a small fridge, ice, ice buckets, wine glasses, plates, utensils, microwave, toaster, keurig, hot pot, tea, coffee, & snacks. Our property is Pet Friendly. We only allow ONE pet per room at the max weight of 50lbs. Crates are requested , but not required. Pets must be with their owners when the leave the property. There will be a $35 pet fee per night. We offer a broad complement of amenity items, services and packages that can be added to your stay for an additional cost. Guest access Guest Access/Parking : Main Street (3 blocks) is easy to maneuver on foot for restaurants, retail stores, movie theater and art gallery. Parking is available for guest right in front of our entrance on Main Street. Come in the black Wrought Iron Gate (it has two levers that need to be pulled out - and give a strong push). Our overflow parking is next door at BanCorp South Bank and for larger vehicles there is City Parking lot next to BanCorp South Bank. During your stay We're extremely responsive but give you complete privacy. We take pride in the ability to provide Concierge Level Service. We are easy to communicate with by phone, email, or text as we want you to have a great stay. Other things to note Our Inn is located in an original Church built in 1895. Because we are located in a historic building, our unique 6-room boutique hotel may not be accessible to all or may present challenges in providing easy and independent access. Before booking a reservation, please note that we have a ramp to get into the chapel but once inside, there is 3 interior steps required to enter the 1st floor of rooms. And to exit the building other than the ramp it is stairs down to the basement level and stairs up to ground level. There is no elevator on property. Our guest rooms do not meet ADA accessibility requirements due to the historic nature of the property.
