This home boasts a beautiful, safe, quiet neighborhood, with mature landscaping and charming custom Mid Century home design, close to the Historic Bakersfield Country Club and Nationally ranked Bakersfield Community College. Enjoy a very private bedroom/dedicated private bath only with it's own refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. The world renown Kern Medical Hospital is nearby and I am happy to host traveling nurses, doctors, and first responders. The space This is a custom home built in the 1950s and retains its charm and design after years of restoration and lots of love. You will enjoy an expertly decorated bedroom with a dedicated and private full bath with a tub and shower. The bedroom and bathroom are off of a private hallway, and this area is reserved for guests only. No access to living room/kitchen. Guest access You will enter home with a key code access. The door is directly to the right of your dedicated and covered parking space. During your stay I will always be available if needed. I have spent many years in the hospitality industry and understand that most guests are working and need quiet private time. Other things to note This is a no smoking residence. You will be charged a $200 fine for smoking any substance in the guest room. Bakersfield is known globally for their cultural events and restaurants. We serve a Division 1 University and Community College as well as several high schools and semi professionals teams as well. The Mechanics Bank Theater and Convention Center host year round concerts, conventions, and sporting events. Bakersfield is the West Coast country music capital. Buck Owens and Merle Haggard made Bakersfield their home. Bakersfield is known for its Basque Heritage and restaurants. You will not be disappointed by the restaurants that have withstood the test of time here in the Central Valley. A short drive East on any highway will take you into the Sequoia National Park and the unrivaled beauty of the Kern River that runs from the Sierras to Bakersfield.
