YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED A FARM UNTIL YOU'VE LIVED IN A BARN! This is a unique "Experiential" stay for the adventurous animal lovers out there! That’s right, make no mistake, The Barn Loft is located INSIDE an actual working barn with privileges and access to animals that only our Barn Loft guests receive! Each morning you are invited to work alongside us feeding many of the animals that call our farm home. It is an absolute MUST DO for horse and animal lovers alike! The space While the animals bed down in pine shavings you will be afforded comfortable beds with all linens and towels provided. There is a full bath, refrigerator and microwave on the ground floor of the barn. There is also a gas grill, with side burner and picnic table on the barn patio. We maintain a very clean barn but please recognize that IT IS A BARN. If anyone has ever told you that you are “high maintenance” then The Barn Loft is probably not for you and we would encourage you to consider our cabin, The Riverside Cabin @ Ocoee Riverside Farm or even perhaps one of our covered wagons; The Welcome Wagon, The Band Wagon, or The Chuck Wagon. Also, please be aware that you will need to be able to climb a 12 ft ladder to access the loft. (Backpacks are recommended but a luggage pulley is provided). While you will have access to a refrigerator, gas grill with side burner, microwave and fire pit, you will not have access to a stovetop oven so please plan accordingly. Guest access As a guest of The Barn Loft you will have access and privileges that are only offered to other farm guests by signing up for our "Farm Hand" experience. That's because each morning you are offered the opportunity to work along side us for morning chores in the equestrian barn as well as our petting zoo. Ocoee Riverside Farm is a 30 acre riverfront farm located in the small town of Benton, Tennessee. As our guest you will come to realize that we really do offer a 'Stay Here, Play Here' environment! Our boat ramp, located at the end of the main driveway, offers easy access to the river should you decide to take a cool dip or splash around with the kids. Additionally, we also offer our guests a number of extra activities that we refer to as "Experiences". Some of our Experiences include our Farm Tour & Animal Encounter, Sloth Encounters, Baby Kangaroo Bottle Feeding, Horseback Riding, Pony Rides, as well as Camel Rides. Yes, you read that right.
