An apple tree is beside the guesthouse. A farm is to the back. Asian cafe, Subway, Dempsey's Grill, Amvets, Main Cup bar and restaurant, Tapia's and 3 ice cream parlors are all a short walk away. We are close to Harper's Ferry and Greenbriar State Park. We are 15 minutes from Boonsboro which features shops and great eating, along with Nora Robert's famous hotel. There's a great Pub called Dan's with many brews on tap. Dan's has great onion rings and crab cakes too. We are 5 minutes from Myersville which has an Amish Market and J & B Seafood. If you like to shop Clarkesburg outlets are 30 min away, Hagerstown outlets are 17 minutes away and Gettysburg outlets are 35 minutes away. We are a half hour from Gettysburg, PA. Antietam battle fields and other historical sights are near by. Downtown Frederick is only a 12 minute drive featuring food, specialty shops, antique shops, as well as wine and brew pubs. We are near many antique malls. Liberty Mountain Ski Resort in Fairfield, PA is 38 miles from here, Whitetail Ski Resort in Mercersburg, PA is 30 miles from here and Roundtop Mountain Resort in Lewisburg, PA is 75 miles away.
