Windows on the Sea is unique in this complex, and the most generously equipped vacation rental you're likely to find. The private owner has turned this unit into a luxurious home-away-from-home, with art, plants, rugs, and other lovely decor items to complement the space. The spacious dog-friendly 1225 square-foot condo features an open floor plan and is beautifully furnished in a warm, contemporary style throughout the home. Both bedrooms have a king bed. The condo comfortably sleeps four guests, with a large sofa in the living room as a possible sleeping spot for a 5th guest. The two full bathrooms are lined with exquisite tile and include glass-enclosed walk-in showers, with a huge soaking tub in the master bath, shampoo and conditioner, soap and hand lotion. With high quality cabinetry, granite counter tops, crown molding, and stainless steel appliances, the condo is the epitome of comfort and luxury. Peace and quiet. Because of the curved shape of the building, guests have complete privacy from all other units, and the solid concrete construction makes this condo virtually soundproof. This location on the north end of Rockaway Beach has no commercial buildings, just nice homes up behind the dune, so guest can enjoy a quiet and relaxing getaway, free from the crowds in town. The owner upgraded the original 50-gallon hot water heater in this unit to a whopping 120 gallons! No more concerns about keeping the condo toasty and handling plenty of hot water for all your needs - even the giant bathtub. Guest access There are many great amenities and lots of personal touches like rain boots, coats and slickers, beach chairs and towels, space heater, Nikon binoculars, dog towels, waste bags and dishes, a folding luggage cart, free WI-FI and a comfortable lap desk to use for work or play. The large flat screen TV with BluRay /DVD player, plus dozens of DVDs, CDs and books and an assortment of games, puzzles and playing cards provide great indoor entertainment, all with the spectacular backdrop of the sea. Other things to note Pet rules: Dogs OK with disclaimer and additional cleaning fee. The only pets allowed here are those that get their feet wiped upon entry, that are taken for walks often, ON LEASH, to prevent any "accidents" in the home, (there is a leash requirement). Keep pets off the furniture and never leave them unattended in the home.
