Check-in and check-out times are strict since we have to have time to clean between guests. If you need more time in Julian, it is always best to book an additional day if available. Large jacuzzi 5-person max in the back yard to see the stars from. The house is ample and open. It is great for one person to escape it all, but also for larger groups and families. For instance, from the kitchen, you can talk to others in the giant living room in front of the massive fireplace. There are actually four bedrooms, but one we use as a media room, where we have a 75" Sony TV with Disney, Amazon Prime, and YouTube TV. You can also sleep 2 on the giant cosy couch in that room with its own full bath and a claw foot tub. One bedroom upstairs with 2 queen beds that have amazing views of the woods and wildlife down below. It also has its own bath and walk-in closet. 2 more can sleep on the front room couch or the full size pull out mattress 2 other bedrooms share a full bath on the other side of the house downstairs. There is a dog run outside that is huge for your pet. If you bring a pet, we only ask that you do not allow pets on the beds or furniture and clean up after them. There is a pet fee of $75 for up to 2 pets. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have more than 2 pets. The garage is not for use as we use it for storage. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils you need. Linens are all provided. Firewood is free to use, and plenty of it. Has A/C and heat throughout. There are board games as well as puzzles and books to share. The house is beautiful and open, with many windows in each room where you can see wildlife, birds, and trees. We are a Christian family, so we have some Christian items around the house. The driveway is concrete, so easy to navigate, and plenty of parking. The house is perfect for retreats and quiet! Walking in the neighbourhood is very special and level. Biking in the area is amazing, too! Pets are charged an extra $75 fee for each of up to three pets and are not allowed on couches or beds! This house is very private and surrounded by oaks and pines. If you want serenity and quiet, beautiful views, and lots of birds singing, this is the place for you. Guest access Entire house and yard. Not the garage Other things to note There is a wheelchair ramp if needed. There is also an Alexa that answers to the word "Echo" to play music, tell you the news, and much more. If additional people are invited who were not originally booked, there is a $30 per added guest fee per day, whether they stay overnight or not. The pet fee applies to up to three pets. You must clean up after your pet, inside and out. There is a fenced pet area in the yard if needed. No smoking anywhere on the property, or there will be an additional $100 cleaning fee. No noise after 10 PM or you will be asked to leave with no refunds. This is a very quiet area. If more than 16 are accepted, there will be a $10 per person per night additional fee
