The space Welcome to SODO! We are nestled in the heart of Downtown Hartford. You will find that we are 2 blocks south of Bushnell Park & approximately 200 yards from the Bushnell Auditorium on Capitol Avenue. Our neighborhood is full of historic charm, Victorian era homes and buildings populate this area for blocks. This property was designed and built by George Zumner in 1927-1928, and I along with a small staff have been the caretaker of modernizing this building for the last 3 decades. The building is also occupied by other tenants of mine who are single dwellers and always very quiet. The building is safe, very clean and all tenants are respectful and polite. Each room has it's own special charm and we take great pride in our apartments. Each room is designed with our guests in mind and we go the extra mile to ensure that guests are comfortable and have everything they could ever need at their fingertips or a block or two away. Guest access There is a parking lot at the rear of the building which gives guests the option of entering the apartment through the rear entrance. There is also a covered porch with seating at the rear of the building which is lovely for relaxing or having a morning cup of tea or coffee when the weather permits. We do have a laundry area - guests are welcome to use it however this must be done by request as the area is kept locked at all times.
