Our cozy cottage is nestled on our 4 acre property in a small and quiet neighborhood. We do have a country atmosphere given our location. Don't be surprised to see quail wandering in the driveway or in backyard as they scramble to go to their homes in the pine trees. You might also hear the sounds of goats and other smaller farm animals as they do reside not far from us. We are about 10 minutes from the freeway which makes access to Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell easy. The space The cottage is about 900 square feet of living space with an open concept design. One bedroom contains a king sized bed (great place to relax and watch our spectacular sunsets spring thru fall) and the other a queen sized bed. You can enjoy a meal at the table while gazing out the patio door or enjoy some quiet on the back porch. Lap blankets are available for snuggling under when the weather gets a little chilly. The kitchen is fully equipped, along with a washer and dryer that are available for use. For those who need to make use of it, there is a shower chair also available (please ask ahead of time so we can make it ready for use). The living room, kitchen and dining area are open concept. Walkers can easily navigate the short hallway and bedrooms. We are sensitive to allergies. No scented cleaners or plug in air fresheners are used. Guests have enjoyed relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area and watching the sunsets from either the backyard or master bedroom windows while reclining on the bed. Guest access Our neighborhood consists of 9 homes on a private road. Our house is located at the end of the road. Our property is fully landscaped with beautiful variety of trees, bushes, and other plants. On our property, you find our shop, main house, and guest house/cottage. Other things to note We aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you could follow these house rules and confirm that it has been reviewed WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a Strict Cancellation policy. Thank you in advance and truly appreciate your cooperation! – No shoes within the house. – Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. – There shall not be smoking of any kind including but not limited to vaping, tobacco, pot etc inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. – PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied. – PARKING: parking is provided on the driveway beside the guest house. The driveway can comfortably fit 2 vehicles or a truck and enclosed trailer/rv -Please acknowledge that occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guest’s discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. – Please do not rearrange our furniture. – If you would like to host an event please speak with us about it first. Air BnB has a strict policy regarding events/parties – If guests are found to have had a party without the host's permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of any disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. – If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. - Please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. (Respect our property and our things) - No Pets due to family members having severe allergies. We do have several birds of prey who nest in the area. They come in a variety of sizes and species. You can hear their calls as they soar through the sky and hunt in the area. - We do know the difference between a service dog and an emotional support animal. We also know the ADA and Air BnB guidelines regarding them.
