When looking out the west window there are no houses in sight. To the east a house can be seen approximately 100 yards through the woods when there are no leaves on the trees. On the south side The Carriage House sits up high & back from the river and provides a spectacular view of the woods and the river beyond. The north side has French doors which can be covered up with a sliding barn door thus making the Carriage house very private. The openness and natural light of the Carriage house lets you experience the beauty around you both inside & outside & day & night. It has been described as "Living in a Tree House". Renovation of this historic space includes granite counter tops, maple hardwood throughout, ceramic tile & a 2 person sunken bathtub.
