Ski Access: Cowboy Heaven Cabins boast TRUE ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky Resort! The BEST on the mountain and suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts at Moonlight typically open early to mid December. There is no ski access until the lifts open or after lifts close. Ski Out: Step off the back deck of your Cowboy Heaven rental cabin onto the Powder River Run. This will take you right to the Moonlight Lodge and the Ironhorse chair lift. (Green Access) Ski In: From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River.
