What should I bring on my trip? Shelley suggests bringing drinking water, oil/ butter for cooking on stainless steel, slippers/ loafers, and campfire wood if using the firepit (or you can buy ours and have it delivered to your doorstep.) Please leave home any bubble baths, bath bombs or salts as these are harmful on jacuzzis. Using plain water is best. The experience "Chores N' Tour" requires closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or boots. No flip-flops or sandals are allowed for animal experiences. 2. Can I wander around the ranch, unattended? Keep in mind we are a small ranch and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is livestock pastures and other rentals. You can walk to the glampground, and play a round of corn hole or the horseshoe pit area. 3. Can I access the all animals? The barndominium has its own, fenced barnyard that consists of a wooly sheep, a miniature horse, an entire chicken coop where you can feed the chickens and a beautiful Indian peacock anytime you'd like. You will also be able to see (but not touch) the turkeys, a mini pig, and an alpaca. 4. This home sleeps four (4) guests *including* babies & children. Have more than four (4)? Add a fifth (5th), and sixth (6th) guests for $25.00 each additional person for your stay. We do not accommodate more than 6 guests max. 5. What's the history of the ranch? The property was a horse rescue for two decades. Local students take horse lessons here and the public books guided educational tours and paint parties. The ranch also produces a small amount of alpaca fiber and sheep wool that's sold yearly. 6. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests here, not people walking in off the street. 7. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You must be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the barndominium. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery. Just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the barndominium. 8. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. All cleans are performed on time, keeping us on schedule for the next guest. Thanks for your understanding. 9. Are activities for children a different price than adults? All of our on-site activities are the same price for everyone. While you're here, you can choose from Chores N' Tour, Brush N' Bond, Painting w/ Shelley, and Horse Whispering lessons. 10. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We are ADA service animal exempt due to safety issues with animals on display that are natural prey/ natural predators of animals including dogs. We also do not allow pets. 11. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy at all times inside all of our rentals. The Swedish Cowboy space is located inside a barn and smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while inside the barn house or directly outside. The best place to smoke is by walking down the driveway or inside your car (away from the stable.) 12. How secure is the ranch? The property has six outdoor security cameras running at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without a code and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here. 13. What other Airbnbs are at the ranch? There is a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, mini-huts, and an entire Old West-themed glampground at the ranch. YES! You can have friends and family rent other units and make this a group experience. You can also see our all of listings if you click our name (logo.) 14. What are the checkout procedures? We have a 5-step checkout process and ask that our guests leave the barn house the way they found it, (neat and tidy.) We love to brag about super clean guests who leave our home well cared for. You will see our checkout procedures on the refrigerator. Guest access - Barndominium with a gated, fenced yard surrounded by animals are yours to enjoy! However, going into animal enclosures is off-limits. - Relax in your jacuzzi - Play on the 5-foot tall arcade - Enjoy the fire pit with chairs - An outdoor picnic table - Reserved parking spot next to the Barndominium - Plan to see animal caretaking or people strolling by. This is not a secluded spot- (we have a tiny house on Airbnb that is more secluded though!) At night, the yard has more privacy. - BBQ grill is available upon request - Children of all ages MUST be accompanied by an adult at ALL TIMES on the farm. Please do not open latched/closed gates, go inside, or climb into animal enclosures.
