The pelican palace, is a thatched roof studio house with A/C and Starlink internet. Is located near the beach, dive shops and restaurants. Free parking is 2 blocks away from the house. Unit not set up for children under 10 years old. Include drinking water in your shopping list. Cash is king in Cabo Pulmo. The unit sits in the same lot as the shark shack and surf hut, is located next to a restaurant and dive shop and has potential for some generator noise. Price set up for 1 or 2 people. The space The house has a queen size bed and a single bed, a full bathroom with hot shower, the kitchenette has BASIC tools to cook simple meals; a propane stove with oven and a refrigerator and there is an upstairs view deck with hammock and chairs. This is a solar powered unit and has ONE standing fan, you can normally charge your devices but hair dryer or similar appliances are not permitted to use as they can damage the solar system. The water in the house is treated but it can taste like chlorine, we recommend bringing your own drinking water. The house has Starlink WiFi. The house is located in the same lot as the Shark Shack and the Surf Hut. Parking is located 2 small blocks away from the house across house #12. Other things to note The village has some new street lights however a flash light comes very handy. As you walk around, mind your steps, remember that you will visit a remote area and some critters like tarantulas, snakes, scorpions and other bugs are part of the community. The house is treated for pests but geckos, mosquitoes and even cockroaches are part of the tropical environment. During “winter” season, bring a hoodie or something toasty the temperatures can drop a bit and can be quite windy! Nature is the rock star in Cabo Pulmo, go SCUBA diving or snorkeling, explore the numerous trails in the area (there is a trail map in the house), rent a mountain bike, go bird watching or star gaze from your view deck. Cabo Pulmo midnight is about 9pm and most restaurants close kitchen about 8:30 pm, keep this in mind if you are arriving late. Stop by the visitors center and check the monthly agenda. Cabo Pulmo is a quaint, remote and secluded town lacking amenities such as gas stations, pharmacies, and laundry facilities. It's advisable to visit larger supermarkets in Los Cabos or La Paz. Chedrahui and Soriana are the closest markets to the airport in San José del Cabo. There are seven restaurants available in town with different working hours offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The last gas station is in La Ribera along with the last modest grocery store on the right side of the highway. Cabo Pulmo has two very small stores offering a very limited selection of products; like drinking water, wine, beer and some snacks.
