Welcome to The Destination Resort! Alabama's first and only (for now) Glamping (glamorous camping) Resort. Love the outdoors and all it offers except for pup tents, sleeping bags, mosquito netting, sweating, freezing? Then you have found the right place. Our resort is 78 acres of beautiful Alabama forest with slopes that run down to beautiful Sandy Creek which flows for a mile along the edge of the resort. Canoe, kayak, swim, wade, fish, hike, or just relax. Ask about Sandy Creek Lodge events! The space Based on our past growing up in Florida, this 650 sq ft Safari Tent sits on a 2100 sq ft deck overlooking Sandy Creek. Three sets of hard frame double entry doors lead into the completely built our interior of the tent. There are walls and entry doors for the bedrooms and bath, wood floors, granite countertop Kitchenette with microwave & mini fridge. The bathroom has double vanities, unique light fixtures, and a huge walk in tile shower. The main living area, has dining for 6 and a queen sleeper sofa. The "Shabby Chic" decor and rough cut pine board walls milled right on the property make this a one of a kind luxury lodging experience. The deck is immense and has outdoor seating area, large gas grill, covered outdoor dining for 6, and a 7x7 Hot Tub set into the deck. Your very own firepit area is nestled in the trees not far from the deck. Guest access There are only 4 Glamps on the entire property each spread out at least 50-100 yards apart. All of our guests have access to the entire 78 acre property and mile of creek frontage. We also host special events at The Sandy Creek Lodge and all of our guests are welcome to come. Make sure to ask about Happy Hours, Sunday Brunches, or other special music events that may be happening during your stay. You can even ask in advance and plan your trip to include some of the events we offer. Other things to note As a resort, our goal is to offer a luxury lodging experience in a very unique package!
