Cozy house located in historic district of CB at quiet end of Elk Ave. Located in ideal spot right opposite Rumors coffee/book shop, close to many award winning restaurants & independent stores. Our cute, cozy house is located in the center of the historic district of downtown Crested Butte on the quiet end of Elk Avenue (the main street of Crested Butte). The house has been remodeled and has all new furniture and fixtures. We are located opposite Rumours coffee/bookshop, and a block away from the bus stop. Take a stroll along Elk to browse the wide range of independent quirky shops. Spend the evening at one of the award winning restaurants, sip a cocktail at the local rum distillery or sample the beers made in the local brewery, all just a few minutes walk away. Visit the Arts Centre which hosts weekly free outdoor music concerts during the summer months and also hosts many concerts, talks and other cultural events year round. The movie theatre, health food store and super market that are all within a 5 minute walk. Free buses operate daily between 8am and midnight to the ski base of Mount Crested Butte, the hiking and biking trailheads and down into Gunnison. The buses are equipped to carry bikes too! The lifts are open during the summer to take bikes or hikers up the mountain. There is also a zipline tour, climbing wall, bungee trampoline, mini golf and a kids museum up at the base. There is a weekly farmers market held at the west end of Elk on a Sunday morning during the summer. Private off street parking is available at the house and a grassy, shady garden to sit and watch the world go by.
