Set between Buena Vista and Leadville and just 40 miles to Aspen in the summer, this is a perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. Walk to the lake, bike endlessly, hike 14ers, snow shoe, ski, read by the fire, be on the Leadville 100 track in Aug. The space The cabin is an open floor plan, with a queen bed, dining room table with 3 chairs, 2 reading chairs, a free standing fireplace in addition to electric heat, dresser, 2 bar stools for the bar, small fridge, fully furnished kitchen and a fall custom shower. Guest access You will be staying in the original front section of the structure, which is completely separated from the newer back area. We keep this space for ourselves and visit from the front range on occasion. Other things to note The snow is plowed right up to our drive, however in the event of a heavy snowfall you will either need a 4 wheel drive or will need to walk about 100 feet to the front door.
