Our lodge has beautifully situated chalets nestled into the coves of the lake. We aim to suit all budgets and have a range of options from lakeside camping, self-contained chalets with stunning views of the lake, and dormitories. Our lakeside bar and restaurant serve delicious local and international food and drinks. We offer free paddleboards and snorkels to guests. The space We have twelve rooms, made from local materials with their own unique style. They are all well spaced and naturally shaded with their own private balcony with views towards the lake. We also have a spacious lakeside campsite along with a space for rooftop tent vehicles. We also have a spacious outside woodfired shower with views of the lake and gardens. Our compost loos are environmentally friendly and easy to use, helping to fertilize the gardens. During your stay, there's loads of activities both here at Butterfly and around Nkhata Bay, including: Monkey Business, situated onsite, who offer kayak and canoe hire, snorkel trips, fishing trips and hikes. Across the bay, Aqua Africa offers scuba dives and sub-winging.
