The space Salinitas is located in a unique zone of El Salvador where the sand is not black. Salinitas is surrounded by rocks which makes the place an ideal spot to spend hours into the sea since the waves are soft and there are no strong currents, given the rock formations that protect the place. During low tide it's possible to go into the reef and discover a world in each rock; visit “El Cristo” an sculpture that takes care of our community. In low tide you can also dive with snorkels in the calm sea where they abound colorful fish, algae, and crustaceans; ideal for the kids to spend hours of fun. During the high tide, get a seat at our terraza as it’s a spectacle to see the waves breaking against the wall of the house, and filling the pool with fresh salt water prepare as you might get wet if you stay at that area. For the more adventurous try to stay at the seawater pool while it is filling but please be careful if you decide to do so, sea is powerful and you can get hurt. I recommend not to allow small kids when this happens. Guest access Our house can accommodate up to 20 people, in 4 different rooms with 3 bathroom inside the house and 1 outside. It is therefore ideal for families or groups of friends. We have a complete kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee machine, appliances, utensils, ready for you to use. There is also a barbecue. Don't forget to bring your drinking water. NOTE: the rental price is just for 16 people in 3 rooms but the 4th room to accommodate 4 more is available at an additional cost please ask if needed. Travelers will also be provided with dishes, cups, cutlery, bed linens and pillows. Also bring disposables. For an extra cost we offer a cooking and cleaning service. You can also ask for a “fogata” at night in low tide please tip the housekeeper if you do so. Inside the complex there are common areas you can use like tennis and basketball court, a common beach too. Other things to note We have dogs on the property that are kept locked, if you bring a pet make sure he doesn’t go to look for them as they will hurt the dog. We have two dogs on the property that remain locked up during your stay, if you are bringing an animal please make sure you do not look for them because the dogs will bite you.
