A great place to relax in Long Beach! A 5 minutes walk through the dunes to the beach and a 3 min. drive from 'downtown' Long Beach, the newer home has a charcoal bbq, outdoor seating area, private entrance, kitchen, full bath, bedrm with a queen bed, a full-sized sofa sleeper (additional $25 for sofa sleeper) in the living room. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. No parties or additional guests, please. 2 dogs max. with additional $60 for one or $90 for 2. No cats. The space A great location in Long Beach: a 5 minute walk along a dune path to the ocean and direct access to the Discovery Trail for biking and walking. Just a few blocks to Long Beach with restaurants, galleries, shops and bike rentals. Check out "funbeach" online to see all that the area has to offer. It is a great town for kids and families: an arcade, go carts, bike rentals, great restaurants, galleries and antique shops. Don't miss the Discovery Trail for biking and walking, Kite Festival and Rod Run events. The Red Barn can host your horse if you want to bring yours or rent one to ride at the beach. Please bring your own beach towels. We provide a set of bathroom towels for each guest. There are 2 laundromats close to the house. Because the washer/dryer is used by cleaning staff it is not available for guest use. The garage is not available Please clean clams OUTSIDE in the hose, not in the house. If you have a larger group, click on my profile photo to see the Intrepid House, which can be rented separately. It is a 2 bedroom. There are 2 queen beds and a pullout twin sized sofa bed to accommodate 5 adults or 4 adults and 1 or 2 small kids on the pullout bed. Peak season weekends are a two night minimum. Last minute, off-season Saturdays, and single night weekend stays are sometimes available, so please check with us about availability. Guest access The address, access information and contact numbers are available in your Airbnb reservation immediately after booking has been completed. The entire Annex is yours, and if you need more space, the Intrepid House can be rented separately for a total of up to 9 guests. There is a $60 ($90 for 2) pet cleaning fee and a max of two pets. They may not be left in the Annex unattended at any time, even if crated. Additional fees beyond the pet cleaning fee may be charged for pet damage to floors, carpet, etc. Other things to note There is a charcoal barbecue on the small patio area outside the living room. The kitchen has all utensils, dishes, pots, pans, foil, salt/pepper and sugar. Linens are provided for all beds as are towels and washcloths. Beach towels are NOT provided, so please bring yours. We do not offer electric vehicle charging at this time. Please do not bring bicycles into the house. You can lock them to the post outside by the porch. Clean clams and fish outside in the hose. Please do not clean them in the kitchen sink as the gravel and rocks will cause problems with the septic.
