Positioned on the edge of a cliff, Acra-Retreat is located on the border of the malaria-free Elands Krans Nature Reserve. It is a good stopover point between Johannesburg and the Kruger National Park. It features a seasonal outdoor pool and a children's pool and barbecue facilities. Horse riding, mountain climbing, abseiling and spa treatments can be arranged at the reception. The area abounds in birdlife, including species like owls, swallows and guinea fowls. All rooms offer a private entrance to the decks with mountains views. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV and satellite channels. Tea/coffee facilities, a safe, and fan are standard.
