You have now landed in Middle earth at Green Zion Garden. A beautiful garden grown and built by Ellis who is here to serve you amongst beautiful nature in your own privacy. Hammocks, seating areas, restaurant and bar in a rustic setting at a secluded beach. Paradise! Th room is made of clay, conical in shape with thatched roof and an adjoining bathroom. Two double beds can sleep up to 4 and a seating area inside. There is room for more mattresses for larger groups. Breakfast $5 in garden. The space Set in a beautiful garden, this is a small rustic ecolodge built by myself over the past 9 years. There is running water to a private bathroom. I now have electric, so you are able to have a fan and charge electronics. There is mosquito nets and fan for your comfort. I have a vegetarian restaurant and am happy to cook your evening dinner, lunch and breakfasts. All these are from the menu and at extra cost. There is also a bar for cold drinks and beer and cocktails all under a leafy canopy. I am two minutes from the beach in a beautiful secluded spot. A getaway paradise. Through the winter months, there is Thai yoga massage available. It truly is a spot for meditation, yoga, tai chi or massage in my beautiful retreat garden. Garden, hammocks, seating areas outside in in a wooden framed room adjoining the bedroom. I am available in the morning for breakfasts, lunch and in the evening for evening dinner and any entertainment you may wish ie., drumming. My evening is free to make guests comfortable. It is 2 minutes near the beach and there are no shops or big buildings, just a small walking path. You can see green and nature everywhere and has not been spoiled by a concrete horizon. Cheapest option: From Butre village (7 mins) there is a small mini bus to Agona (2 cedis 45 minutes). From Agona the nearest big town, you can get a small mini bus (tro tro) to Takoradi major town (2.50 cedis 45 minutes). From Takoradi to Butre a taxi costs 60 cedis and takes 45 minutes. It will drop you outside my door without going through Butre Village. Otherwise a cheaper and longer option is mini bus from Takoradi to Agona then the mini bus (tro tro) to Butre village with a walk of 7 mins to my place. Please make sure you speak to me by telephone as internet is not available. I do have a dongle for internet but reception is not always good, so always make sure we speak on the telephone. Guest access The gardens, hammocks, a peaceful environment, a lovely beach, a small little village, truly a paradise. You have access to all garden area but not to the kitchen area, unless by consent by the owners and that the owners be present. During your stay I love people, you're gonna love it here! Other things to note Where I am is very remote. You need to book to get my phone number. From then on, keep in touch with me by telephone. I have no internet access as there is no signal. Reception is not brilliant. MTN doesn't work here but vodafone does. If you do not get a reply, don't worry, I may have to walk to the end of the garden to receive the call or make a call. If you don't hear by internet don't worry, we can be in touch by phone, but you need to book it in order that the phone number is given to you. MTN doesn't work in this area at times.
