We offer a choice of self-catering, with a fully equipped kitchen and a large barbecue to ensure all your culinary requirements are easily met. Alternatively, if you prefer to kick back and relax our Chef David and Housekeeper Judy will make sure that your needs are taken care of. Please ask for our Set Menus or bring your own ingredients and we can prepare them for you. Fine dining is also available at the Great Rift Valley Lodge a short walk away. Entertainment The highlight of any stay at Francolin Cottage is to enjoy the luscious garden and the wildlife that regularly visit. Dik Dik, Impala, Bush buck and even Zebras have been known to enjoy browsing in the garden and our bird table attracts non-stop attention throughout the day from colourful Lovebirds, Francolin’s for whom the cottage was named, Ibis’s, Guinea fowl and many other species. After the birds have retired, fire-up the barbecue and enjoy outdoor dining under the big African night skies. Additionally, the cottage is equipped with a Bluetooth Minirig Soundsystem, free Wifi throughout, and a Smart TV with access to lots of movie channels as well as all the main Live Sports from around the world. On colder nights, get comfortable around the fireplace before retiring to the super comfortable beds all fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets. Guest access The entire cottage is available to guests during their stay - all bookings are for this cottage only. Guests staying at Francolin Cottage also have access to the facilities of the Great Rift Valley Lodge including the swimming pool and the Resort restaurant and bar (payable by guests separately). The Golf Course is also available though green and caddy fees do apply. Other things to note Hotel facilities are paid for separately.
