The space The surf hut is a studio bungalow with a queen size bed and a single bed, it comes with a kitchenette , bathroom and upstairs view deck with hammock and chairs. The kitchenette comes with a coffee grinder, a french press, propane stove with oven, refrigerator and all kinds of BASIC utensils to cook. There are a couple of beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a cool box. This unit doesn't have AC, it comes with ONE fan. Consider this if planning to travel during summer time. The hottest months are from July to October. Parking is located 2 blocks away from the house across house #12. Other things to note The house sits in the same lot with other 2 houses, the pelican palace and the shark shack, each house has its own entry and patio. Great option if traveling in group. The village has a few new street lights however a flash light comes handy. As you walk around, mind your steps, remember that you will visit a remote area and some animals like tarantulas, snakes, scorpions and other bugs are part of the community. During “winter” season, bring a hoodie or something toasty, the temperatures can drop a bit and becomes quite windy at times. The house doesn't have A/C, this is a solar powered unit but a standing fan is provided. The main activities are SCUBA diving and snorkeling, there are several trails to go explore the area or plenty of beach access to go for long walks. There is a bike rental/tour operator with great mountain bikes. Stop by the visitors center and check the monthly agenda, they usually have workshops, bird watching days and more. Cabo Pulmo midnight is about 9 pm and most restaurants close kitchen about 8:30 pm. Cabo Pulmo is a quaint, remote and secluded town lacking amenities such as gas stations, pharmacies, and laundry facilities. It's advisable to visit larger supermarkets in Los Cabos or La Paz. Chedrahui and Soriana are the closest markets to the airport in San José del Cabo. There are seven restaurants available in town with different working hours offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The last gas station is in La Ribera along with the last modest grocery store on the right side of the highway. Cabo Pulmo has two very small stores offering a very limited selection of products; like drinking water, wine, beer and some snacks.
