THE HILL HOUSE -Ocean and Mountain views-
Perched on the mountain, the hill house has three large windows and view deck that look out over the desert valley and the National Marine Park. The house is located at the end of a road which ads to the peaceful and quiet character of Cabo Pulmo, but is close enough and within a 10 minute walking distance to dive shops, restaurants and hiking trails. This unit has Starlink. The house is not set up for parties, loud music and children under 12 years old. Parking is on site. The space The hill house is a thatched roof studio apartment, the house has a queen size bed, bathroom, kitchenette, standing fan and a view deck with chairs and umbrella. Extra pillows, blanket and beach essentials like chairs, towels, umbrella and cool box are provided. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer, coffee grinder, electric drip coffee maker, pots and pans, ground coffee, seasonings, olive oil, pepper and salt. Other things to note Cabo Pulmo is an off the grid little town. The solar system in the property is strong enough to run the appliances in the house, have a few lights on and charge devices, but hair dryers or high voltage appliances are not allowed to use in the house as they can damage the solar system. Starlink internet is available in the house. There are new street lights in town, however, a flash light comes handy! From June to October are the hottest months of the year. This unit doesn't have A/C but due to its location is usually cool enough at night to sleep comfortably. Other possible natural encounters! Yes, besides the underwater encounters that you might have, chances are you'll have some classic Baja/tropical critters in the house; such as hardworking ants in the kitchen if you leave your chips unattended on the counter top, some crunchy roaches, scorpions (double check your shoes, they love dark/humid spots), spiders and friendly gecko lizards. Tap water is treated and there is a Faucet-Mounted water filter in the kitchen. Cabo Pulmo midnight is about 9 pm, most restaurants close kitchen about 8:30 or 9 during high season. Cash is king in Cabo Pulmo, either MXN pesos or USD. We don't have ATM in Pulmo. Cabo Pulmo is a quaint, remote and secluded town lacking amenities such as gas stations, pharmacies, and laundry facilities. It's advisable to visit larger supermarkets in Los Cabos or La Paz. Chedrahui and Soriana are the closest markets to the airport in San José del Cabo. There are seven restaurants available in town with different working hours offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The last gas station is in La Ribera along with the last modest grocery store on the right side of the highway. Cabo Pulmo has two very small stores offering a very limited selection of products; like drinking water, wine, beer and some snacks.
