Upstairs is a full bed along with two “bunks” that would be perfect for sleeping bags. The downstairs futon can also sleep two, for a total of six. An additional $25 per guest over a total of six will be charged, but approval is on a case by case basis. The kitchen is small but very functional, including fridge, stove and dishes. A gas grill is furnished for all your grilling needs. A dock for your boat is at the water’s edge. There is an area to build a fire for making s’mores or just to unwind by after a full day exploring the 21 miles of waterways, just steps from your front door. This property is waterfront, with woods in the back. You are amongst nature, and may see the occasional critter. A well is the water source, so the water pressure isn’t strong enough to take paint off, but will get you clean. This property isn’t the Hyatt, but it is clean, comfortable, and a great location for relaxation. It is the perfect spot for some fun in the sun with family or a quiet getaway. Guest access The whole Chalet is included in your stay. Other things to note Our golden retriever, Derby, enjoys his summer chasing boats up and down the channel. He is not aggressive and does have full access to the whole property, including the acreage in front and behind a Chalet. He is like the Long Channel mascot 🐶.
