You’ll have over 1000 ft.² of outdoor living space to enjoy a relaxing outdoor meal on the back deck. We are 2 miles from I-35 for quick access to Waco and Temple, which are about 20 minutes in either direction. We live in a rural area and you'll be on horse-feeding duty during your stay. The space We love our three-story Barndominium. Here’s a description of our space. The main level: 3 bedrooms, 2 bath * Spacious open living room and kitchen area with seating for 16-20 people. Second level Hayloft: * 5 twin beds. *toy cupboard and TV games * overlooks the main living area. * Electric Piano The third level: 3 bedrooms, 1 bath *large family/movie living room with projector with Roku and movie/gaming. *Comfy Day bed with two twin beds. *one bedroom with a full/double-size bed. *one bedroom with a queen size bed *one small guest bedroom with a day bed with side-by-side twins. *large bathroom with walk-in shower. * spacious breezeway with valley views Suggested sleeping Arrangements Main Level - Bedroom 1: King Bed - Sleeps 2 Main level Bedroom 2 : Queen - sleeps 2 Main level Bedroom 3 : Queen master- sleeps 2 Mezzanine level open loft: 5 Twin beds - sleeps 5 Upper 3rd Level-Family Room : 2 twin beds from Daybed -sleeps 2 Upper 3rd Level bedroom 4: Queen - sleeps 2 Upper 3rd Level bedroom 5: Full - small antique bed: sleeps 1 (the Lavender room) Upper 3rd Level bedroom 6: Side by side twins sleep 2 Out back: Deck out back with a hot tub. We know you’ll love our property but it is still a work in progress. This is a metal barn so you can hear the rain on the roof, and if it’s a severe storm it can get loud. If it’s muddy outside when wet so leave your shoes at the door. Because of the Covid 19 outbreak, we only allow our home to be rented 5 days in between each visit. We sterilize before and after each visit. We ask that if you are sick you do not come to our home. Our cancellation policy is no longer strict, it is more moderate and flexible. We want our guests to be safe and we want our family to be safe. Our home is a non-smoking facility Also, while we do allow family gatherings and dinners, we do not allow parties and we don't allow hard liquor or excess alcohol to be served in our home. We abide by the Airbnb rules. We use an abundance of caution to avoid our home being used as a party house. Guest access Access to all locations, except the Laundry, and master closet. The back 6 acres of the property has a horse in the pasture, please don't open the gate or go into that area. There are two storage barns, please don’t enter. Our Barndominium has two sets of staircases, so young children, as well as older adults, will need assistance. Please make sure safety gates are in place And don’t allow any young children in the loft area without supervision. There is a big step. The second set of stairs goes to the third floor and is steeper than the first set of stairs to the loft/mezzanine level. As our guests, we ask that you do not conduct any tours of our home, or allow any unplanned guests into our home. Also, the person renting our home needs to be present during the rental. Thank you so much! Other things to note There is no laundry service or laundry available on this rental. We have a buffet in the dining room that has farm-style plates, bowls, glass salad plates, etc. There is enough for 16 place settings for your meals there is also seating for two at the kitchen island. We occasionally hear the rumbling of test rockets during the day from Space X 20 miles away. You will be on horse-feeding duty during your stay. She also loves pets and selfies.
