Relax, play games & enjoy the scenic views. This home was originally a bunkhouse for the former Badger Creek Cattle Co and has been converted into the Badger Creek Ranch House. Experience an eclectic mix of Western, antique and Native American furnishings in the heart of the Kansas Prairie. This home is off the beaten path. But being just a couple miles off of blacktop makes it no trek to get here. We welcome you to our family farm & ranch, which are just down the road from The Ranch House. The space This home is part of a family purchase that included ranch headquarters, pasture and 2 homes. Like most middle-class American families, we only need one home! So we are embarking on an adventure of opening this second home to visitors. Part of the ranch purchase included many unique Western and Native American furnishings which are featured throughout the home. Your group will enjoy plenty of shared space including a large living room with tv, a reading nook, and a game room/lounge room. Take a stroll out of the game room through glass double doors to a spacious deck and enjoy the prairie views. You’ll find gorgeous sunsets every evening just outside your front door. There’s plenty of fun to be had indoors and out. You’ll find board games, a record player with vintage records to listen to during your stay, and corn hole. Please keep in mind that this is a working ranch and farm. We ask that you don’t wander the property/grounds without permission. Guest access You will have full and private access to the main floor of the home as well as the front and back yard areas. The basement is unfinished but can be accessed during inclement weather if it is needed. Other things to note This is a working ranch. There are certain seasons where cattle will be in pens near the Guest House which can cause unique and sometimes unpleasant smells. Message for more details if needed!
