A wilderness getaway located in the middle of the woods in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. Numerous waterfalls are within a few minutes drive. Come enjoy your morning coffee in a rocking chair on the 2 story deck overlooking wooded forest where you're likely to see tons of wildlife. There are also several short walking trails on the property that take you by some natural spring-fed streams and through the woods. The space This is our personal mountain house we love to share with others. It is furnished to include many pieces of antique furniture and small decorative touches with a cozy mountain theme. It isn't completely modern, in a good way. It's a great place to relax and plan out the next little adventure! Several trail guides and waterfall books are on the coffee table. Feel free to add to the collection as you explore any neat places we missed! Guest access Guests have access to 2 bedrooms and a bath downstairs. Upstairs , access to 1 bedroom, 1/2 bath, washer/ dryer, living room, dining room, kitchen. 3 decks available for guests to relax on. There is no access to 1 bedroom upstairs and garage. Other things to note Whisper Lake is a 5 minute walk away. There is a public dock with benches and picnic tables. Your own kayaks and canoes can be launched there, but no motor boats.
