The Rustic Pool House includes a very comfortable queen-sized bed, private full bathroom with larger than standard shower, small table and two chairs, Roku TV, and a small desk with chair for a laptop computer or tablet that includes a modem/router for Ethernet connection for the work traveler. Space includes a kitchenette complete with a mini refrigerator 2 door w/separate freezer compartment, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, and sink. There is NO stove. Dishes for two people, silverware and utensils are stored in the cabinet. Full coffee and tea bar with regular 4 cup coffee maker, french press, and electric teapot to heat water are included. There is also a Kitchen aid blender for smoothies and frozen margaritas. Coffee and an assortment of teabags, are complimentary. Outdoor dining table are a few steps away. Games and books are provided if you are so inclined. Toiletries provided in case you forgot something. Iron and ironing board in the room. Guest access Guests are welcome to access the Guest House and the spacious yard behind the Guest house in front of the pond, pool, and intimate outdoor seating areas. Our Rustic Pool House is intended to be a private getaway for a single person or couple. It is not to be used as a "Party House" for a large celebration. If you intend to have anyone over during your stay, you need to clear it with us ahead of time or a penalty may apply. Keep in mind we also do make use of the pool at times while guests are here but not when guests are using it. The pool was built in the 1960s, therefore it’s a midcentury pool however it was built to last and is well maintained. The deep end is 9 ft. deep! It's big enough to swim laps and it's not heated. There is a large magnolia tree next to the pool so occasionally it’s leaves find their way into the pool. Near the pool is a large Magnolia tree which is beautiful and the guests love although it’s leaves do find their way into the pool; as a result we skim the pool often and leave the pool skimmer next to the pool should you want to skim as well. We keep the pool well maintained and the water checked frequently, more than once a week, at the the pool supply store to ensure that the water is always optimal cleanliness for your use. Due to the wind and beautiful nature around Dallas, Texas, an outdoor pool will have leaves in it once in a while. The pool season starts May 25th and Ends October 10th. The Rustic Pool House is suitable for two adults. Parking is in the Cul de Sac in front of the property. House-broken pets with prior approval, a pet fee of $50 is required. The back yard is fenced in with a ranch style fence that dogs can pass through. Washer/dryer available upon request for longer stays. Cleaning service available for longer stays. Since we have a creek and a pond behind our property we are frequently visited by some wildlife here at Rabbit Hollow. The yard is fenced but you may see or hear opossums, raccoons, rabbits,armadillos, foxes, coyotes, Canada geese, Ducks, turtles, fish, frogs, owls, egrets, or hawks. Thanks!
