Our cozy carriage house is nestled in the heart of the historic district, on the grounds of a Laurel landmark home, built in 1907. The Carriage House is the second floor unit and is original to the property with all the lovely historic charm. Recently renovated, you’ll rest easy with all the modern day conveniences . Thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each checkout. The perfect getaway for anyone wanting to experience downtown and HGTV’s Home Town! The space It's a complete cottage, a separate building from any others on the property...the entire second floor of a historic carriage house. Newly renovated, historic property. Fresh and clean... with all the extras of a luxury hotel room, plus more. 1 comfy queen size bed (built by Ben Napier on the Watt's episode in Season 3 of Home Town!) and two twin air mattress beds, fully furnished with linens. One bedroom, living room, full bathroom, laundry room and kitchenette space...and it is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures! Kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need - complete with a Keurig coffee maker and all the fixings, fridge (no freezer or ice maker), toaster oven and snack/drink basket! This space is only accessible by a flight of stairs. Our sister Cottage unit is the first floor of this property. The Carriage House and Cottage are separate bookings. This unit has it's own dedicated central air and heat unit, and we change the filters frequently. Our COVID procedures include deep cleaning and sanitizing all bed and bath linens before each guest check-in, as well as any high-touch surfaces. We also change air filters frequently and try to naturally air out each unit as much as possible before each check in.
