Our 3 acre property is walking distance from a beautiful 1082 acre Mountain Lake Park for hiking with gorgeous views. We have a in ground basketball hoop in the driveway and a pool and jacuzzi on our back deck surrounded by lush country foliage. Enjoy a day on the deck lounging around the pool on a chaise lounge chair or drive into town to see the local sites. The Weir Farm National Historic Site and Keeler Tavern are local historic sites on main street open for tours. We are located just a couple minutes from South Salem where you can visit a number of horse farms and enjoy a day of horseback riding. Ridgefield features many walking trails, lakes and miles of country roads for bikers to enjoy. September & October is a beautiful time to visit, see the leaves turn and go Apple and Pumpkin Picking at nearby Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard located just 15 minutes away in North Salem, NY. Our Local Ski resort Thunder Ridge Ski is just 25 minutes away in Patterson NY and in CT you can ski Mount Southington. OVERVIEW OF HOME: 1st Floor: Family room with 55" tv, front sitting room with piano, dining room (seats 8), full renovated kitchen, powder room (half bath) and access to the pool /jacuzzi and deck. 2nd Floor: Master Bedroom One: King Bed with private master bathroom and walk in closet. Bedroom Two: King Bed with private bathroom and larger closet with bureau. Bedroom Three: Queen Bed with closet and shared bathroom in hall. Bedroom Four: Full bed with closet and shared bathroom in hall. Things to note: We have one working fireplace in the main family room on the first floor - on the ground floor. The rest of our fireplaces are currently NOT functioning and are for aesthetic purposes only. *****************POOL SEASON IS JUNE TO SEPTEMBER. OUR JACUZZI IS OPEN JUNE TO NOVEMBER. A $70 PER NIGHT FEE WILL APPLY TO HEAT THE POOL AND OR HOT TUB. We pride ourselves on providing absolute privacy to our guest and to our neighbors, kindly respect. Weekend two night minimum year round. Holidays - Two night minimum. Two night minimum stays during and between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. We charge a cleaning fee of $190.00 We kindly ask our guests to leave the home as neat and tidy as possible. Other things to note: Guests who wish to stay and are either new to Airbnb and/or have no reviews will be asked to put down a security deposit equivalent to one night stay. security deposits will be returned immediately at check-out right after a quick inspection.
