Our home is a lovely old historic home that has been renovated with all the comforts of modern amenities. The space A one bedroom with a private bath on the second floor of our home... You would have the second floor to yourselves. Guest will have a lovely room with a queen size bed and a private bathroom on the second floor. Our bedroom and living area is on the first floor and are welcome to join us in the kitchen, dining room and living room. The guest room and private bath are upstairs..We are a family with a 9 year old, two small dogs and two cats. We have been hosting friends and family in our historic town for 18 years now. Looking forward to meeting you.... Marshall is best known for its cross-section of 19th- and early 20th-century architecture. It has been referred to by the keeper of the National Register of Historic Places as a "virtual textbook of 19th-Century American architecture". It is home to one of the nation's largest National Historic Landmark Districts. There are over 850 buildings included in the Landmark. We are a 2 1/2 hour drive east of Chicago and a 2 hour drive west of Detroit. Our home sits in the national historic district and we are a 5 min walk to our downtown, where there are many restaurants and shops. Marshall has a very popular Home tour in September and a Christmas walk in December.. The streets for the home tour are crowded with visitors from all around.
