Enjoy this converted barn with two separate living and sleeping spaces with a bathroom on each level. Both areas are yours plus YEAR-ROUND outdoor hot tub and tons of other amenities! The lower bedroom suite has a full-size bed, sleeper sofa, kitchenette and a private bathroom w sauna. Upstairs bedroom features a queen bed and bunk beds. All beds boast comfy premium memory foam mattresses and all TVs are 4K smart TVs. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped for cooking meals and downstairs kitchenette is perfect for when you’re all gathered around the fireplace and still want to warm up a snack or store your beverages in a fridge. Enjoy our quiet wooded retreat just a 10 min walk to Cherry beach or ride over on our complimentary cruiser bikes! During the summer we have the yard professionally treated for mosquitos so you can take advantage of hot tub, patio, fire pit, and gas grill. We even have a large enclosed space for pets to relieve themselves! (Pets *must be approved in advance*and there is pet fee and maximum of one pet per group). Come see why Harbert has become the favorite destination in Southwest Michigan! Guest access Guests can access white barn-house, front yard and driveway immediately outside the home. It is nearly a third of an acre of private space! But guests may not trespass over tan or gray homes on either side of the barn or their backyards/driveways. All are private property and trespassers may be prosecuted Other things to note Please be aware of a few important notes: - We offer a wide range of baby and elder-care equipment rentals for families traveling with those in need of special accommodations. Baby gear includes folding cribs, high chairs, baby gates, pack & plays, excersaucers, baby tubs and a huge array of age-appropriate toys. Elder-care equipment includes rollators, walkers, portable wheel chairs, portable toilets. All are professionally cleaned & sanitized between guests - This is a rural area so internet connection can be spotty when there are storms but we have the fastest internet available (400 mbps) and best carrier (X-finity) in the area! - This house is in the woods. Whether we like it or not, bugs happen! We have the entire property (interior & exterior and including lawn) treated for mosquitoes, ticks, and ants every 2 weeks by Orkin using pet-safe insecticides. But ants love little crumbs left by little hands and spiders love ants, so..... you get the idea. :) Please practice patience & tolerance if possible but definitely let us know about any pest issues that arise! - Storms also happen! We do experience occasional power outages due to the abundance of trees but we have a portable generator to ensure minimal disruption - The yard is not fenced and Red Arrow Highway is not THAT far away, so please keep dogs leashed at all times.
