We are a boutique hotel in the beautiful & majestic mountain town of Leadville, Colorado. Take a step back in time and stay in one of our five private rooms at this grandly kept 1880's Victorian home. We boast a downtown location & the laid-back communal, family vibe that you've come to expect from the owners of the Co Trail House. Stay with us & the outdoor adventurer in you will get a taste of living in a wild west, Victorian era. The space A quaint room with a window view of Mt Elbert worth a thousand words! This room includes a queen bed among delicate décor and a spacious private bathroom. Enjoy a long soak in the clawfoot tub after enjoying your day out in the mountains. It is on the second floor of the house and you are required to climb two flights of stairs to access it. The bathroom also has steps down to it. There is a wardrobe for hanging clothes and two large bedside tables for other items. This room is positioned on the West side of the house and is quiet most of the time. At times you may hear some noise from the communal spaces below and also some noise carries from the host apartment which is across the way, but overall this is a quiet and private room. There is high speed wifi available throughout the house. There is no TV in the room. The guesthouse has a communal style approach to accommodation. You can retreat to the privacy of your room or hang out in one of the common areas and meet and mingle with other guests. With our downtown location you can mix with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts and have a unique taste of what it's like to live like a Leadville local. You can use the outdoor facilities including the hot tub and fireplace and Indoors, the kitchen, living room & dining room are all communal spaces. Built in the 1880's and home to many prominent Leadvillians, this house is full of character and history. Although meticulously maintained over the years, the house is old and has it's creaks and its squeaks. But as always our goal is to provide you with a clean, warm and friendly place to stay. If you like the outdoors, meeting new folks and love everything that Leadville has to offer, this is the place for you! Please note there is no air conditioning in the room. Guest access The Majestic is a hostel style guesthouse, similar to our other property the Colorado Trail House on 8th Street. Guests access the house via an electronically locked front door. You are given your own unique code prior to checking in and you may come and go as you please. All rooms have their own individual room keys. Guests may access all communal aspects of the house including the kitchen, dining room, living room, and outdoor areas. The rooms are private, however we ask you to respect the other guests in the house and keep noise down after 10pm. Other things to note We love sharing our town and all it has to offer with people from all walks of life. We ask that anyone who is unwell to cancel or reschedule their visit for a later time.
