The ceilings are low and if you are tall, please be aware! You are in a cabin in the woods. There is the possibility of mice. To be safe place all food in the refrigerator and keep the kitchen area clean. There is no AC, but numerous fans and one window unit (window unit for summer months only). It doesn't usually get super hot since you are in the mountains. There is an eggy smell to the water. It is well water. You can drink the water, but I would suggest you bring your own bottled, drinking water. Water does stain toilet and shower. Water has been tested and is safe. Wood- $1 a piece for fire pit and woodstove. If you bring your own you will need pieces small for the woodstove, 12 inches or less. Money can be placed in the wine drawer. DO NOT use washer and dryer! There is a video camera for security purposes. Upon departure: Take trash Sweep Wipe down countertops/stoves Leave propane wall heater on “1”. Do not turn off if fall/winter months. Do not leave trash outside. Bears may pass through the property. No Guest access Fire pit Gas Grill 2 kayaks Other things to note Do NOT use washer/dryer! Before departure: Dishes must be cleaned Please sweep before leaving Wipe down countertops and stove Trash needs to be taken to the landfill on 220- nominal fee Dump is open 10-2 every day, closed Tuesday's and Thursday's in the winter months.
