Memorable days of boating, fishing, crabbing, dining, or shopping await! The space Bring your boat! The Black Dog Lodge is situated on a deep water canal with access to the Rigolets, Lake Pontchartrain, Lake Catherine, and Lake Borgne. The Rigolets Marina and Lake Catherine Island Marina are less than a mile away in either direction for guests to launch their boats and the wet boat slip is available to tie up while at the lodge. Waterfront living includes a furnished upstairs deck, ample outdoor seating under the house including 2 picnic tables, fold out chairs and 2 bi-fold tables, private fishing dock with bright light for night fishing, fish-cleaning station, crab traps, and charcoal barbecue pit. A large portable Bluetooth speaker on wheels is also available to be used indoors or outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, seafood boil pot, drip & k-cup coffee maker (pods, cream and sugar packets included), large island, and large dining table. Don't feel like making a grocery run? Instacart will deliver groceries directly to the lodge! Complimentary toiletries, linens, and towels are included with a washer and dryer in house if needed. Black Dog Lodge was made for your ultimate comfort and enjoyment! Guest access The entire house is accessible to guests, including the private dock and wet boat slip. The cargo lift is not in service and does not operate. Please do not use the neighbors dock directly across the street or park in their lot.
