The cottage is about 15 minute drive from the ferry and sits on 10 acres, at end of long driveway. (A distant log cabin on property will be vacant during your stay for your privacy). Fields of raspberries, blackberries and ferns descend to edge of bluff with trails for easy picking while enjoying water views. Walk up the front stairs to the wrap around porch--a sunny, warm spot for coffee, dinner or enjoying the outdoors. Walk inside to the living room. The living room has a cozy wood burning fireplace that then flows into the dining room and renovated kitchen. The bathroom is on the first floor with a shower. There is also an outdoor shower with amazing water views. Four bedrooms are upstairs on the second floor. The master bedroom has a beautiful private balcony overlooking the East Penobscot Bay--perfect for morning coffee or stargazing. The Private Beach is great for swimming, hunting tide pools, sunbathing. Have a picnic while overlooking a huge view of the islands of East Penobscot Bay (Little Spruce Head and Compass directly east).
