Upstairs: - Cathedral ceilings feature soft light from skylights and transom windows. - Open concept suite. - Washer/Dryer combo. - Heated river stones bathroom floor. - Queen size bed on king size platform. - Movie nook with Roku projector. - Couch folds down into 3rd bed upon request. - 3 closets (double bar, high bar, and shelves with baskets). Downstairs: - Eat in kitchen with restored tin ceilings, countertop peninsula, river stones backsplash, craftsman cabinets, classic electric range, toaster oven, Keurig coffee, cocoa, tea, a round table, and board games. - Double bed, desk, in converted living area. - Enclosed sitting porch gallery w/ coffee table, art books, and our own original paintings. Outside: - 4 car driveway. - Immense silver maple tree shades the house. - Permaculture: on site compost, hugelculture garden mounds growing wildflowers. - 12 young fruit trees (not yet bearing fruit): apple, pear, peach, pawpaw, and cherry. - Across the street from the river. We do our best to use green building, gardening, and cleaning materials to help do our bit for the environment. Guest access Entire space + amenities (excluding garage, basement, and unoccupied rear apartment) included. No one else will be at the property during your stay unless arrangements are made in advance or at your request. Staircase access to enter through the front door and the upstairs. Please make yourself at home! Other things to note The house is old and creaky. Some "features": - The radiators "knock" when heating up. - Creaky floors and stairs. - The toilet seat tilts slightly to one side. - Cracks in ceiling above the stairs. - Some windows do not open. - Some mismatched/bare paint patches.
