Feel free to cook and enjoy your privacy. Roku flat screen televisions are supplied in living room and bedroom, so bring your Hulu, Netflix, Prime or any other passwords with you. Roku television will blow your mind if you are not familiar with it. It has tons of free movies and TV shows and directions are in the guest manual. Just 2 blocks away from the shores of the Rappahannock River, bring your fishing rod and in the summer, bring your bathing suit. Short term and vacation rentals are available. Travel nurses and doctors are welcome as well. The common area has laundry facilities along with vacuum, mop, broom, iron, small ironing board and other items to make your stay comfortable. There are private doors to 2 rental apartments. Fully furnished and stocked apartments. Just bring your clothes and your passwords, supplied with high speed wifi with smart ROKU televisions in the living room and bedroom. Short term & vacation rental available for your comfort. Other things to note We are surrounded by history in every direction. Most local communities have museums, fishing museums, historic homes and places on the National Registry. Historic county buildings like ours, parks, community theaters, etc. Tappahannock is a perfect central location for day trips to Washington DC (2 hrs. 15 min.), Fredricksburg (1 hr.), Maryland state line (1 hr.), VA Beach (2.5 hrs.), Williamsburg (1 hr. 15 min.), Yorktown (50-55 min.); Urbanna (35 min. - home to World Famous Urbanna Oyster Festival), Richmond (1 hr.) and the Northern Neck begins in 1 mile (to Richmond County). Short drive to Mt. Vernon (Washington's Birth Place), Stratford Hall (home of Robert E. Lee) and Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson), plus Colonial Williamsburg and Battlefields from Cold Harbor in Hanover to several in Stafford and Spotsylvania counties and Northern VA.
