The space The newly refinished private apartment is above the two garage stalls of the home. Lots of natural light. Blackout curtains in the bedroom allow you to sleep in. The host lives on the main level which doesn't share any walls with your unit. A queen memory foam mattress is in the bedroom and a single roll away cot is in the living room. Your host has been renovating the mid century home by hand. The space still retains some character of an older home. There's the original hardwood floors and baseboard heat which can be a little noisy. I'm still renovating other parts of the home as the labor of love continues. Guest access Enter in the front door which leads directly up one flight of stairs. The front door to your space is at the top of the stairs. You will enter your keypad code twice: once on the exterior front door and again at the top of the stairs. The back and side yards are not currently accessible for guests. Other things to note EV CHARGING $10/full charge fee. Please message us when you will need to charge so we can make room for you in the driveway. Your changing port needs to be close to the garage door, so park accordingly (back in or straight in). For coffee and tea: there is a drip coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, and an electric kettle. Ground coffee and some teas are provided. Sugar is provided. There is no laundry available in the unit. There is also not a dishwasher. The space is heated with base board radiant heat. This can make some crackling or dripping noise which is normal. Late checkout fee of $50. PET POLICY Add pets under the number of guests. $70 Pet fee, even for emotional support animals. Presence of service animals must be disclosed prior to booking. No cats. 2 dogs max. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Pets must be kenneled when left alone. Excessive barking and pet hair will incur additional fees. Pets must be included in the reservation under "guests" when completing the booking. Undisclosed pets will incur additional fees of $25 automatically. Pets must always be on a leash when outside. Our yard is not available for your pet, but there is a large public park across the street. Any violation of this policy will result in additional fees.
