This charming bungalow is right in the middle of the OKC renaissance - from the hip Plaza district, established Midtown, renowned Downtown/Bricktown, up-and-coming Uptown 23rd, artsy Paseo district, and more! Less than a block to a coffee shop, 2 popular bars and a restaurants. Two bedrooms with queen beds and full bath in each, as well as an additional full size pull-out bed in the living room sofa makes this a great place to crash after a concert or for families to stay while visiting OKC. The space Valerie is a local art teacher and her eclectic style shows through in her space - her students artwork is hung in the living room along with some of her own pieces and other OKC artists’. Beautiful heirloom furniture from her family mixed with contemporary style looks like it comes straight out of a design magazine! Vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan makes this a great home to hang out and watch tv after a long day out on the town, cook a hearty meal, or hang out in the dining room and play some games! Guest access The entire house is yours to make yourself at home! The master bedroom closet and hall linen closet are the only areas inaccessible to guests as they're used for owner & turnover storage. The kitchen is stocked with cooking wares for you to prepare your own meals and a coffee pot for your morning caffeine kick. Everything that you don’t travel with will be available to you. Guests have full access to the driveway which parks 3 to 4 cars comfortably. Street parking is strongly discouraged in order to soften the impact of an Airbnb on the neighborhood. Other things to note This is someone’s home and while we want you to be very comfortable here, airbnbs are different from hotels. Here are a few examples: -While your linens and towels will be clean upon your arrival, they will not be swapped during your stay, however we will leave extra linens for stays longer than 1 week. -This home is video monitored on the outside 24/7 to ensure quality control for the guests as well as for the surrounding neighborhood. -We are less than a mile from downtown, and just like any other big city, USA, inner-city demographics are to be expected. This home is in a gentrifying neighborhood, and all our neighbors are wonderful people. -While there is a kitchen with some cooking wares, if you need specialty cookware, we recommend you bring them for use during your stay. -Due to not having a fenced yard and possible allergy issues for other guests, we are not currently accepting pets. -For the same reason, we do not allow smoking of any kind inside the home. There is a front and back porch, both very comfortable and welcoming to smokers :) Just dispose of your trash safely & properly! -This home is located in a highly convenient area for nightlife, commerce and tourism. With that being said, there are no events allowed in this home that include more then the registered guests. This also includes violation of local noise ordinances or leaving the home in a state that requires more than the standard housekeeping fee. We want to help our guests avoid extraneous fees. -In addition, our home was designed and built entirely to be energy efficient. This includes everything from insulation to energy efficient central air and appliances. We also strive to waste as little as possible when cleaning and preparing for guests.
