Our quaint town, 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common - all within easy walking distance of the unit. The space Spacious one bedroom apartment on second floor of Victorian home. Tastefully decorated with comfort in mind. Private front porch with bistro table leads into private entryway. Original hardwood throughout. Living room is quite large with sofa bed, two reclining chairs and side chair. Kitchen and bathroom are rather large as well. Relax on Adirondack chairs in the backyard overlooking the Androscoggin River. Guest access Driveway parking for two cars. Gorham is a walkable small town with restaurants and shops in both directions. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Located on Main Street, DAILY TRAFFIC CAN BE HEARD, including logging trucks. During high tourist season of late spring through October, ATVs and motorcycles are common during daylight hours. Nights are quiet . PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ATVS.
