The gîte is in a peaceful rural area but close to a village and plenty of things to see and do. It is set in 2 acres of land mainly laid to grass with a lovely 9x4m swimming pool. It has all the facilities you could possibly want. Gite and surroundings are ideal for families with children The space Gîte de Vulcain sleeps 4. The gîte entrance is into a lovely large lounge /dining room. It has 2 sofas. There is a coffee table and unit that has a HD flat screen TV UK FreeSat and Blue Ray DVD player, also drawers and bookcase. At the other end of the room is a wooden table with 6 high backed faux leather chairs. This room also has a wood burner for any chilly evenings in the spring/autumn. The kitchen has a rustic feel to it with an original stone wall and tiled work surface with a pine dresser and lots of appliances. There is a downstairs bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower over the bath with a glass shower screen. The staircase leads from the lounge to the bedrooms which have a lot of character including original beams. Bedrooms One bedroom has a pine double bed and the other has 2 pine single beds this room can also take another child's bed if necessary, both have wardrobes, drawers and bedside tables . Upstairs there is also a separate shower room, with toilet and wash basin. Guest access The gîtes are set in 2 acres of land mainly laid to grass with a lovely swimming pool that has a terrace with loungers and parasols and a gazebo for when you want to escape the sun completely. It is a secluded area with plenty of room for children to kick a ball and run around in. There is an swimming pool 9mx4mx1.2m with alarm and safety cover. This is cleaned every day. It is shared by the 2 gîtes. There is a shower and foot bath. Each gîte has it's own private BBQ and eating area. There are games available such as swing ball , badminton, cricket and football post that are shared by both gîtes Other things to note Towels and bed linen are provided also pool towels . The pool is not heated so is only open from May until October. In summer the pool can reach 29 deg Celsius There are electric heaters and a wood burning stove for those guests staying in the Spring, Autumn and Winter. This is metered for long term lets and will be charged for Guests are asked to check in after 4pm. If you want to arrive earlier and drop your luggage off this is not a problem and check out before 10am. other arrangements can be agreed depending on the situation at the time.
