Charming self-catering Islay holiday cottage in a rural location
Lenavore is a recently renovated traditional Scottish cottage, situated on the Mull of Oa, with beautiful panoramic views! The Mull of Oa is on the southern part of Islay - a beautiful island off the west coast of Scotland! Lenavore is perfect for those looking to relax and get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful coastal landscapes, varied wildlife, sandy beaches and the many other attractions that Islay has to offer - not forgetting the many whisky distilleries, for which Islay is famous! The space Lenavore has 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Lenavore has one large bedroom and one small twin room, so is perfect for a couple or for a couple with up to two children. The large bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are also two window seats for enjoying the panoramic views. The small twin room has two single beds and chest of drawers storage. There is a good sized lounge with two sofas and plenty of room to relax. There is a freesat TV, Blu-ray DVD player and bluetooth iPod doc. The lounge also has a cosy open fire and there is a window seat for enjoying the wonderful views! The fitted kitchen is well equipped and should have everything you need. There is an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle. There is also a dining table for four people. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, wash basin and wc. There is also a heated towel rail, shaver point and storage cabinet. Lenavore also has a good sized garden with amazing panoramic views and a drive for parking two cars. All bed linen and towels will be provided for your stay. There is a travel cot and travel high chair at the cottage. The cottage also has a hairdryer, iron/ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Other things to note The cottage is in a rural location and has no mobile phone reception or wifi. A signal can be obtained fairly close by however, and there are many places on the island which have wifi if required. It is necessary to have a car when staying at the cottage as there is no public transport to this part of the island. The closest amenities (in Port Ellen) are around 5 miles away. The cottage is available for: 4 nights minimum stay from November to February. 7 nights minimum stay from March to October (weekly lets from Saturday to Saturday). Registration number AR01176F
