Welcome to the "Farmhouse Bungalow" Nestled on 9+ acres, surrounded by farm land in the Sierra Foothills, this fully remodeled home offers guests everything needed for a great experience! Our proximity to: Lake Tahoe, Folsom Lake, Sacramento, Wine & Bike Trails & San Francisco; allows: Beaching, Skiing, Boating, Fishing, Shopping, Fine Dining, Wine Tasting, Biking, Kings Basketball & Concerts. This serene setting offers a prime central location for relaxation, exploration & fun! The space What makes our space unique is our great Country Location. We are tucked away on 9+ acres and surrounded by trees, rolling hills, lush landscape and rock outcroppings allowing for plenty of rest, relaxation and recreation. We are on the wine and bike trails just 7 minutes south of I-80 at the base of the Sierra Foothills yet only 15 minutes away from the Galleria Mall & Old Town Auburn, only 20 minutes to Old Folsom, 30 minutes to Sacramento and only an hour & a half to several ski resorts You will love staying in our serene country setting and taking morning walks with coffee in hand, while viewing wildlife! Guest access The “Farmhouse Bungalow” is a private, upstairs, 950 square foot suite that’s all your own. Guests enjoy a small private deck, great for enjoying a cup of coffee. There is a also a sitting area below the Bungalow and a nearby Gazebo aligning our road that’s intended for Bungalow Guests. The common area shown in pictures includes a Gazebo, a Barbecue Counter with two Weber Charcoal Barbecues, and a small refrigerator. Guests can also enjoy our hammock and fire pit areas which are shared with our "Loomis Log Cabin Guests". Many friendships have been forged by those not shy of gathering together yet with many niches and lush landscape on the property, there is plenty of opportunity for privacy and alone time as well. Guests are welcome to roam our 9+ acres. Feel free to ask for boundary markers before taking walks or going on excursions. 😊 Safety Precautions: 1. Several of our neighbors have FARM ANIMALS including: Cows, Pigs, Chickens, Roosters, and Horses. Feel free to view keeping a 5 ft. distance in order to be respectful of our neighbors and please don’t pet the animals. 2. Our Family has built many STRUCTURES to add to the aesthetics of our property. For your safety: Please refrain from climbing on structures including: fences, farm equipment, water features, tractors, or water troughs. 3. Gigantic ROCK OUTCROPPINGS are covered in natural moss which can be slippery. Please DO NOT CLIMB on these as they can break apart and fall to the ground. Enjoy the rich green moss as it's taken up to a hundred years to grow. They are for your eyes only :-) Thank you for allowing us to share our serene property with you. Drive 5 miles per hour when driving up Surette Lane. Briquettes and lighter fluid are often provided for the BBQ however, you may want to check the supply in case previous Guests enjoyed barbecuing several times during their stay and used them up. Raley’s is only 5 minutes away in Loomis just in case 😊 Our Bungalow listing is accessible via the outside stairway shown in the pictures. We have upgraded our WIFI yet we want to let you know that being surrounded by beautiful trees can sometimes leave your cellular data a tad sluggish. We are still thankful for country living! 😊 Family members are severely allergic to pets so even service dogs will not be accepted. We have spoken to Air BnB Case Managers about this so they are fully aware and likewise, we are educated on the: “American Disability Act” and it’s laws as well. Our biggest concern is our Guests and Family members health. Thank You for understanding. There will be an extra charge for photoshoots, meetings, workshops, etc. Please inquire with us. We ask all of our Guests who book with us to post a photo of their ID on the Short Term Rental App at time of booking. Note: We will not see the ID until after booking takes place.
