A spacious and cozy studio with a full kitchen, this is a romantic getaway for couples and a wonderful value for families. Please reserve this space for yourself and include all guests traveling with you. Please do not reserve the apartment space for someone else if you are not traveling. The space This large, sunny studio has expansive views in every direction and is situated on Four-Mile Creek. It is a duplex and is attached to the main house, where the host lives. The space is furnished with a queen bed, a leather couch that converts into a queen bed, and a Tustin Convertible Chair that easily changes into a twin bed, suitable for a young person or small adult. It has ample closet space for storage and floor space to comfortably spread out. Enjoy your own cooking with a fully equipped kitchen - there is plenty of room for everyone on the solid pine dining table, which easily accommodates with its easy-to-install stowed leaf. For longer stays (more than 1 week), laundry machines can be accessed in the main house. Sunshine abounds in the Sunlight Mountain Valley. The heart of Glenwood Springs with unique shops, restaurants and the world famous Hot Springs Pool is just a 15 minute drive. World-class skiing and biking is in the backyard, whether you are headed to Sunlight Ski Resort (10 minutes away), Aspen Snowmass Ski Resort (45 minutes away), biking in Mesa County's year-round sunshine (90 minutes away), or exploring the beautiful town of Redstone (45 minutes away). If you visit in the winter, keep in mind that we are situated in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, where roads are narrow and steep and can be snow packed and icy. This includes the drive to the house. Neither the roads nor our driveway are treacherous and they are fully maintained and plowed. However, please be prepared with a vehicle that has 4 wheel drive or front wheel drive with snow tires. Guest access There is a stone patio directly in front of the bungalow, where guests are invited to enjoy the views and sunshine. There is room for one guest vehicle. Other things to note The studio is a duplex - it is connected to the main house where the host lives. It is well suited for couples or friends. Families and young children are welcome! Please no parties. Limit 1 car.
