The hot tub is cleaned with enzymes, no harmful chemicals, and closes at 11 PM. Most of our guests come to hike and view waterfalls and enjoy a quiet time to unwind. The space Follow the "Airbnb Entrance" and proceed up 4 steps which takes you in through a private entrance to your room. Your Twin bedroom has a private entrance and includes a private bath and kitchenette. When your room is rented, other rooms will remain vacant so you will enjoy total privacy for the bathroom and common areas such as the Lanai (for cool or rainy days),a large deck with cushioned deck chairs (for eating meals) hot tub, gas BBQ grill and kitchenette which are areas for our guests' pleasure and relaxation. Yard, fire ring with chairs and table are available for wiener roasts and night time fires. Firewood, wiener sticks and starting materials are furnished by host. We will accommodate you in any way we can to make your vacation a memorable one. If privacy is what you desire, we think you will enjoy this location. Enjoy the hot tub anytime of the day or until 11 at night and make a fire and roast wieners and marshmallows in the firepit. Host provides all starting materials for your convenience, even the wiener sticks. Go into the kitchenette to prepare some sandwiches and snacks for your hike and waterfall viewing, one triple waterfall within walking distance of the house. It is called Living Waters, you pass it when you turn onto Clinic Road. There is a shop to rent kayaks, fishing equipment and tubes for the river just 15 minutes down the mountain road. Guest access You will be parking next to a vehicle in the yard. Follow the Airbnb Guest Entrance sign which points you to your entrance. Enter code for lock box provided by hosts before arrival. Hosts can be reached by text for questions, etc. Bedrooms, bathroom, large deck, hot tub and Lanai are available at all times. The hot tub closes at 11 PM every night for maintenance and addition of enzymes. No smoking in or around the property. Other things to note Brevard is about 16 miles away which has lots of restaurants and activities. There are no restaurants in Balsam Grove so plan accordingly for your meals or bring your raw materials for making your own salads, sandwiches, pizza etc. in the kitchenette. The Kitchenette is fairly well stocked for making smaller type meals but has a toaster oven, not a regular oven. There is also a hot plate and microwave. You can also prepare your own breakfast before your hike or kayak adventure. You are in the mountains so expect cell service and data to be spotty at times.
