This is a beautiful home right in the heart of Urbana. It features original woodwork and hardwood flooring, new high-end Samsung kitchen appliances, and a brand new heating and cooling system. I prefer to book the house for a minimum of several months, and will generally not consider short stays. The space New April 2021: this home has a completely new heating and cooling system with an ionizing filtration system similar to what is used in hospitals (and proven to kill COVID). Extremely comfortable and quiet heating and cooling with humidity control! This home has updated kitchens and bathrooms. There are also large common spaces (living room, family room, dining room). There is a large dining room table, couch, 65" smart TV, and multifunction printer/scanner. The house has a very fast Wifi network. The kitchen features high-end black stainless steel Samsung Smart appliances all around. This includes an extremely quiet dishwasher, microwave (with a powerful vent the exhausts outdoors), gas range and double oven, and a very large fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice maker. The fridge even has an integrated filtered water pitcher that automatically refills. The 1st floor of the house is all hardwood floors. The entire 2nd floor, with the exception of the bathroom, is carpeted. The house has central heating and air conditioning. Airbnb does not provide a mechanism for pricing in the cost of bedrooms/bedding, and preparing bedding for one bedroom in a home is very different than preparing four beds/bedrooms. The listing is priced for one bedroom, and for each additional bed/bedroom you would like to use, we charge $250. This one time fee is in addition to the very small per-person nightly fee that the listing automatically adds to the price. Please inquire before making a booking request so we can work this out. Please note that except for special circumstances, we will generally refuse bookings for large groups or events. Guest access This listing is for the entire house, so you have full access to everything in the first and 2nd floors. Please don't touch the HVAC system, breaker box, or network gear in the basement. I take care of all of the exterior upkeep such as yardwork, and I use the garage to store a lot of yard tools and materials (so, you cannot use the garage). There is a good amount of parking space, but I will be somewhat specific where you park vehicles so that I can access the garage when needed. Other things to note We keep the hot water very hot! Use caution with the sink and shower. We do not do any in-house cleaning during your stay, and we do not, despite the name of the service, supply breakfast. If you think you'll need additional attention like room cleanings, laundering, additional towels, etc... please declare and discuss these things before booking.
