Our pet-friendly condo on Mt. Crested Butte is ski in and out, close to the lifts, and has great views! You’ll love our place because of how close it is to the slopes, the real fireplace with plenty of wood, the full updated kitchen, the large bedrooms and the view! Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). The space Beautifully decorated and renovated, this pet-friendly condo right on Crested Butte mountain has unforgettable valley views and is ski in and out. Our condo has easy access to the slopes, but is also perfect for a peaceful and private retreat. There is one king bed in the master, a queen bed and bunk bed in the second bedroom. The King and Queen mattresses were just replaced with brand-new DreamCloud mattresses. The kitchen is lovely, as is the master and the living room - for a pet friendly unit, this is exceptional. In the Winter, our complex is completely ski-in/ski-out. The ski school is right next door, as are two lifts, Peachtree and West Wall. From the parking lot, you ski down to West Wall lift, which is free, ride it up and then ski down to buy your lift ticket- you don't have to plan your day ahead. The sweet ski school for children is about 100 feet from the bottom of the lift - but you can also ski right to it from the top of the West Wall lift. The run down to the condo at the end of the day from the top of the mountain is the prettiest on the hill, with almost 360 degree views of the whole valley. (Disclaimer - the run down/ski-in is best for experienced skiers) The views are spectacular of all Crested Butte valley. Our complex also offers a free shuttle in the winter, only for guests of the condo unit. This is a great service that is available from 8 a.m. to midnight. If you are too tired to ski back to the condo at the end of the day, just call the shuttle! In the Summer, there are mountain bike trails right out the door and it is an easy walk to the lifts for a fun ride up mountain. There are tough mountain-biking trails right out back, and also a real easy one that takes you into town, where you can sling your bike on the back of the town bus for free and ride back up. The fishing is great, and river rafting/canoeing is a must. Try Crested Butte in summer! In the Fall, especially September 15-October 15 the leaves on the Aspens and Cottonwoods are a riot of color. Fishing, golfing, biking, and hiking beckon everywhere. Besides being so ski-in/ski out, the best things about this condo in winter are: free shuttle service, anywhere in CB, from 8 a.m. till midnight; real fireplace with lots of wood; sauna, jacuzzi (just down the hall- open for ski season only); discounted ski rentals (ask); the view and privacy. Other things to note Our condo is on the first floor of the three-floor unit, but because of the slope of the mountain, the parking lot (right next to the complex) and entrance to the complex is level with the third-floor. As such, you walk down two interior sets of stairs to get to the condo. The ski-in/out is to and from the parking lot, not the condo itself (because you can't ski down the stairs inside...or at least shouldn't try). If you are bringing a pet, great! Limit is 2 dogs and the building (not us) will charge a fee for your pets - $25/night for one dog and $35/night for two dogs. This is collected by the condo office DURING your stay and is not part of the payment through Airbnb. Parking: Two spaces of free parking are automatic. The front desk will issue parking passes. If you have more cars there is rarely a problem, but do let us know so we can inform the office. Please limit yourself to 3 cars. Coin Washers and Dryers just down the hall.
